$25.00 per person for Barbecue Buffet, no-host bar, silent and oral auctions.
3:00 – 4:30 – Outdoor School Activities / Outdoor School Gear for Sale!
4:30 – 5:30 – Social Time, No Host Bar, Silent Auction
5:30 – Dinner
6:15 – Program and Oral Auction with 100% of the Bell Ringer/Paddle Raise going directly to Outdoor School for David Douglas Students!

Volunteer:
Noon – 3:00pm – Set Up – a variety of needs
3:00 – 4:30 – Outdoor School Activities – People needed for recreation activities: hike, bait casting, archery, nature crafts, outdoor cooking/smores, nametags, and field study displays
4:30 – 6:30 – Dinner Support: serving and busing
7:30 – 9:00 – Clean Up – a variety of needs

Exciting News!
We are glad to announce that the funding has been secured to offer our
6th grade students the opportunity to participate in a 3 day/2 night
Outdoor School experience this spring. Thank you to the efforts of
many individuals and groups who worked tirelessly to solicit
donations, sponsor events and participate in fundraising events. Since
the funding for Outdoor School was eliminated from the budget last
year due to budget cuts it took the cooperative effort of many to
raise the funding for this outdoor educational experience.

Exciting news for Reynolds School District’s 6th graders
Reynolds School Board voted last night to fund a 3-day Outdoor School for their 6th graders in the Spring. This is a huge victory for those kids.
The DDSD community and Friends of Outdoor School have raised $132,673.82, needing only $13,700 more before a visit is possible for our students. We would need to raise $113,700 to send our kids for a full week of Outdoor School. Stay tuned for updates, events, and opportunities to help. As always, you can donate directly to David Douglas Educational Foundation or Friends of Outdoor School.

We are very close to the $146,125 goal for 3-day, 2 night Outdoor School for all David Douglas School District 6th graders. We would love to see these kids in a full week of Outdoor School, but these numbers are very exciting and we believe we can do it!

500 Campfires for David Douglas Campaign – $60 donations that are %100 tax deductible to David Douglas Education Foundation or Friends of Outdoor School.
Dates and deadlines:
Intent to participate in Spring Session to MESD by December 15 (if fees are paid after 12/15, we will be fit into the schedule as space allows.)
Fund Raising absolute last deadline – February 10, 2012
Outdoor School Spring Session begins at the end of March 2012.
We are so close! As always, donations can be made directly to Friends of Outdoor School and assigned to DDSD if you designate it on the form. Or, you can donate through David Douglas Education Foundation.
